Stagflation Is Back.............what the heck is stagflation ?????? the last time stagflation was a problem for america....and the worlds economies was the carter years in the late 1970's. remember the gas lines.....and fuel shortages ???? waiting in line for 4 hours to get maybe $10 of rationed gas ???? Stagflation is simply this. peoples paychecks and earnings overall are shrinking.....as costs for goods and services increase FASTER..... THAN AN EARNERS WAGES INCREASE TO COVER THE COST OF LIVING INCREASES. YOU ARE NOW SEEING THIS EVERYWHERE......not just at the gas pump. the u.s. mortgtage crisis is an obvious example. millions borrowed money they could not afford to pay back. even before the arm's raised mortgage payments. more people in america are on food stamps in 2008.....than ever before in history. 1 out of 6 people in the state of west virginia are on food stamps. people are now buying GROCERIES and everyday staples on credit cards nationwide. at interest rates of 25% + on those credit cards......families financial security are in free fall. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO US AS CASH GIFTERS ????? we cannot control the world's banks and economies. or world government policies.
